It wasn’t long ago that my friend drew a picture of me. She gave me big eyes and a beautiful smile. She was quite generous in her interpretation after a long day.
There was a team of us pushing to get a campaign out. While most of it was automated, there was a portion that we needed to hand process. Board members, physician and dental interns, wrote personally handwritten notes to their most loyal supporters.
Ravenswood Family Health Center is a special non-profit. They provide quality primary and preventative care for people of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay. They are nationally recognized for innovation in their integrated team-based approach to health care. They serve a culturally diverse area with 86% of their patients living below the federal poverty line.
My team and I have had the pleasure to support Ravenswood Family Health Center for several years. We fell in love with the organization for their heart and soul, and for the work that they do for so many.
We thank them for the opportunity to play a small roll in their efforts, and for allowing us to be part of the team.
Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, recently donated $5,000,000 to Ravenswood Family Health Center. It was the largest individual donation in the U.S. in 2013.
