Who's got it better?

49er Levi Stadium StrategyDo you prefer watching your fave football team on TV or at the stadium? The 49ers have embarked on something quite unique. Understanding viewer preferences, they have set a goal to combine the best of both worlds in designing and creating the new Levi Stadium. Here’s a close-up of what they created:
Giant Screens: two enormous screens with a combined size of over 19,000 square feet are located on each end of the field. They make the Jumbotron at Candlestick downright puny.
Giant Wi-Fi Spot: with over 1,000 WIFI access points, the new Levi Stadium has 40x capacity of any NFL stadium.
Sony Screens Galore: you won’t miss a moment when you visit the team store with 2,700 large HDTV screens everywhere.
In-Stadium App: order a glass of chardonnay, or an IPA with your burger and garlic fries from your seat, and sit back. You can watch instant replay on your phone while you wait for your order to be delivered.
In keeping with California Green initiatives, the facility is also LEED Certified and includes: 27,000 square foot rooftop garden and a pedestrian bridge lined with solar panels.
At ZOOM Cross-Media combining different platforms to create meaningful engagement is core to our philosophy. However, we also understand how difficult it can be to meld these platforms.
We applaud the 49ers for their effort, and look forward to an enhanced user experience both at the stadium and at home. Having been to several games at Candlestick, the new stadium will be a breath of fresh air wherever you see the games. I’m sure they’ll keep the lights on for you.

Go 9ers!
