UC Berkeley’s Professor Roy is using Twitter on a daily basis in her classes and lectures. She uses hashtags (#) for a particular topic and projects the feed onto a screen for everyone to see. Throughout the class, students may comment and engage with the professor and other students in real time.
Professor Roy has experienced a much higher level of engagement around the top. Prior to using in the class, she was not on Twitter. She now considers herself hooked on the platform because of the collaboration.  Students also feel more engaged and comfortable in relating to each other.
