I attended an event last night hosted by a large veterans organization in San Francisco.  With over 400 guests and lots of Veterans Day excitement it was a truly delightful.  Throughout the night, I had several wonderful conversations with our American heros – vets from the Marines, the Navy, the Army with service in Vietnam, the Golf, Afghanistan and Iraq.  Most were retired but some were active duty, all with a commitment and heart for supporting those in need when returning home from service. Regardless of race, sex or political propensity, we stood united in our support.
Thank you Swords to Plowshares for the work that you do for our service men and women. You inspire me!
