When you think of people working in the mailing industry, do you think of Newman from Seinfeld? Think again. The USPS is full of up and coming stars as well as a few that have been around a few years. Miles French, a long time friend and industry professional is one of my faves. On the weekend, Miles leads a band called the Mock Ups and serves up a ton of fun. Ranging from the Beatles to Tom Petty, he’s bound to get you singing in your seat and maybe kick up a heel or two on the dance floor.
Unlike the stereotypical USPS bore, Miles is just as fun during the week. For the past four years, Miles has been a highly successful sales professional at Pitney Bowes. He creates winning solutions for his clients and shares his success with the Sacramento Postal Customer Council, where he currently holds the title of Vice Co-Chair.
I think the secret to Miles success and passion for life is his love for family. He recently told me that his wife Cindy and son Miles are everything to him. His brothers, Jim and Jeff are pretty cool too and he credits them for everything he knows.
I encourage you to connect with Miles. He’s an awesome man and I guarantee he’ll make your life a little sweeter by just knowing him. You may contact Miles for presort mailing tricks at Miles.French@pbpresortservice.com or via the band at MilesFrench@surewest.com
BTW, Miles and his brother, Jeff French, recently sang the National Anthem at the American Philatelic Society before unveiling the new USS Constitution stamp – pretty cool!
