We have a new puppy in the house—Cora—another beautiful English Springer Spaniel, thanks to Dalin’s Springers. Cora is a pistol. She’s playful, eager to learn, and takes great joy in teasing her big sister, Dory.
The other day, a friend said, “Cora is just like you—slender, energetic, full of life, and yes… a pistol.” That comment stuck with me. As I thought about it more, I realized the comparison rings true—not just personally, but in how I approach my work, play, and family life.
With Cora’s spirit as inspiration, we’re looking ahead with renewed energy and focus—especially in delivering even more value to our clients and their goals. What does that mean for Dennis and our work at ZOOM Media? Quite a lot, actually.
Here’s where that energy shows up:
- Saving Time
We’re committed to finding smarter, more efficient ways to work—embracing tools like AI whenever it makes sense, without losing the human touch that matters most. - Growing Response Rates
We’re challenging assumptions and thinking outside the box. Can we eliminate the unnecessary? Add something unexpected? How do we truly break through the noise? - Improving ROI
It’s about reducing costs and increasing response—without taking a sledgehammer to the budget. Every effort deserves a close look at its cost, return, and impact on overall results. - Being Strategic
Sometimes small changes—here and there—can significantly improve a campaign. Reallocating spend toward new and emerging strategies can make all the difference.
None of this is new for us. It’s who we are—it’s in our DNA. But moving forward, we’re being even more intentional and focused in our work. This isn’t the same world or business climate it once was. Those who don’t evolve with it risk being left behind.
And if Cora has anything to say about it, standing still was never an option anyway.
